The chefs at Basi, located in the heart of Little Italy, use family recipes to transform fresh ingredients into the traditional Italian cuisine on their eclectic menu. Stomachs warm up with the soup of the day, and prosciutto joins forces with melon to form a refreshing appetizer. Forks excavate ricotta and spinach submerged beneath shells of pasta in the manicotti fiorentina, which is covered in a pink sauce. Olfactory bulbs welcome the earthy aromas of the pizza funghi’s wild mushrooms and truffle oil. The vitello marsala’s veal cutlet nestles beneath a wine sauce on a soft bed of penne arrabiata, and pink amaretto shrimp and blue potatoes compose a bright symphony of colours.

Chocolate-and-Frangelico panna cotta seduces palates with hazelnut flavours. Guests can sip a glass of wine from the menu (not included in today’s deal) and relax on the cushy chairs of the dining room or terrace.
