Ofelia’s owner, Naji Slim, and its celebrated Greek chef Angelo Christakis, renovate quality ingredients into upscale twists on Mediterranean culinary traditions. Dining duos embark on their journey with an appetizer of octopus caught in the Mediterranean Sea and grilled over charcoal, or make a stopover in Greece to indulge in feta salad speckled with vine tomatoes, olives, and red onions. A 12-ounce filet mignon welcomes shrimp to share its plate in the surf ‘n’ turf, and skaras chicken undergoes grilling with herbs and lemon oil before accompanying sides of fried potatoes or steamed seasonal vegetables. Swordfish fillet pairs pleasantly with the notes of a variety of French, Italian, American, Greek, Australian, and Spanish wines. Finally, dessert spoons venture beneath the crispy exterior of fritters known as loukoumades or dip into homemade yogourt topped with grape chutney and sprinkled with fresh fruits.
