Don't buy this groupon. I purchased a similar groupon a few months ago for same spa and similar spa experience. it was not worth it at all!!! first of all the spa was cold throughout, they have a palm tree in the front arrival area with 2 small birds that were busy pecking away and flying around – not very therapeutic in my opinion. The home sauna was difficult to figure out how to use and took 5-10 minutes to warm up and lights inside did not work. Groupon was for 1 hr massage with facial or back exfoliation. The massage was mediocre and was only 40mins long, maybe because I spent 20 mins in the sauna. I wanted the facial but the lady said I wouldn't need it since I have no acne. No where on my groupon said the facial was only for people with acne-prone skin. So I had no chose but to go with the back exfoliation which left me very cold. The massage bed was not heated and the room was not warm at all. The lady left the room without telling me the session was over and I was left wondering if she would return. My shoes were left in the front area and was freezing cold when I put them on because they apparently don't believe in heat. I had to pay for the taxes on the groupon, which is normal, but who charges 50cents for interac uses nowadays? And the lady at the desk ask me to give a tip. Tip is EARNED and not to be assumed that one would graciously give one just because a service was performed. Needless to say no tip was given.
DO NOT GO TO SPA BORA BORA. This is how they treat groupon clients.
