Rafting Nouveau Monde and its expert guides usher thrill seekers through the Rouge River’s exciting rapids. With levels of intensity ranging from Class I beginner rivers to Class VI expert routes, raft riders may encounter the terrain’s various temperaments, from its calm flows to its immature name calling, while snuggled in a provided rented wetsuit (a $14.05 value). Waterways include the gentle gesticulation of the Family Rapids, the undulating waves of the Washing Machine, and the rocking white waters of the Confusion Rapids.

After a day of current conquering, rafters can partake in a poolside barbecue (for an additional fee) and included live music on Saturday evenings, then rest water-worn bodies overnight at the New World Centre’s campground. Campers may bring their own tents or rent a shanty for $45. All participants can enjoy the New World Centre’s facilities, which include a swimming pool, hot tub, bar, volleyball court, showers, trails, lush forest, and more.
