From the comfort of a plush black leather chair, each doctor establishes a plan of action with the client and answers any remaining questions on the procedure. Doctors then inject 20 or 30 units of Botox beneath the facial skin in a process that lasts between 10 and 15 minutes Patients can usually resume their normal activity immediately after treatment, with results that can last up to four months.
At the doses used to erase wrinkles, side effects are temporary and limited to the injection points. Generally, they appear in the week following the injection. Sensitivity, bruises and headaches are sometimes associated with injection.
